Corporate organisers and industry experts gather for the EMA Summer Soiree
Over 100 corporate organisers and industry experts attended the Event Marketing Association’s (EMA) Summer Soiree - an annual networking event that was held this week at the City Summer House, Brick Lane, on the 23rdJuly.
The EMA Summer Soiree brought together EMA members, corporate event planners, marketers and industry expertsto network, enjoy the sunshine and hear about the EMA’s future strategy. EMA Summer Soiree was held with the generous support of the Awesome Group.
The event raised money for Meeting Needs, the event industry charity by way of a raffle with prizes donated by The Stafford hotel, The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast, The Royal Garden Hotel, Camm & Hooper and Hilton Bankside.
Richard Waddington, Chair of EMA, comments: “Our fourth Summer Soiree was a great success – we all enjoyed the generous hospitality of the Awesome Group and lapped up the evening sunshine in their unique summer pop up venue. It was good to meet so many of our members and to share our plans for the coming year, which includes the launch of our new content rich website and membership management platform, launch is expected to be at the end of August. We will be sharing more detail of our future plans and the new website in the coming weeks. We are in exciting times for the Association.”
The event was sponsored by the Awesome Group - a group of companies serving the sector with Awesome AV, Event Set Services, Awesome FX and Fusion Hospitality. The City Summer House is London’s most sought after summer party venue, situated on the world-famous Brick Lane, E1.
